Notice of Suspension of Operations

Effective March 27, Handymen will be suspending operations and is no longer accepting new estimates at this time.

Current economic conditions have had a significant impact on the type of small and mid-sized home repair work our company was built to provide. Because this segment of the industry is closely tied to housing mobility, historically low existing home sales have greatly reduced demand, while the cost of operating a fully licensed, insured, and compliant company has continued to rise.

We are sincerely grateful to the homeowners and property managers who trusted us over the years. If conditions improve in the future, we hope to once again have the opportunity to serve our community.

What’s Next

This is because we have currently suspended our operations.

We will contact you within one to two business days to schedule your initial assessment, if needed. After your estimate is approved, most projects are scheduled within one to two weeks. Our goal is to provide a clear timeline and move your project forward without unnecessary delays.

We offer multiple payment options for your convenience. We accept credit card payments both on-site and online. In addition, we also accept cash and checks. We also offer financing through our partner Wisetack.

After you submit your request, we review the details and determine whether an on site assessment is necessary or if photos are sufficient. We then prepare a clear, flat rate estimate outlining the full scope of work for your approval. You may approve it as written or request adjustments. Once approved, we handle material procurement and schedule your project for completion.

In the event that your project requires multiple visits, such as drywall repairs, we will not generate an invoice until the entire project is finished. However, if your project has multiple components, such as changing light fixtures, repairing drywall, and mending a fence, we may create small invoices for each visit as we complete the components.

Handymen will provide an invoice for any materials purchased that cannot be returned, and those materials will be transferred to you as your property.
